About HPCVC

Health Professionals’ Credentials Verification Center (hereafter referred to as HPCVC) was founded in February, 2007 by the Ministry of Heath of the People’s Republic of China (MOH). It is the designated authority for doctors’ and nurses’ licensure verifications in the People’s Republic of China, complying with the Interim Measures for Administration of Credentials Verification of Health Professionals Working Abroad (issued by MOH, on the 15th February, 2007). HPCVC is supervised by Health Human Resource Development Center, MOH, P.R.China. Our mission is to improve quality of health care and to protect health professionals’ legal rights and interests as well as their reputation.

Verification applications could be made either by individuals (doctors or nurses) or by institutions (e.g. academic institutes, registration authorities). Since its founding, HPCVC has verified credentials for nearly 1,000 individual applicants who are from more than 20 provinces (or municipalities, or autonomous regions), and those verification results have been directly provided to the regulatory authorities located in different countries around the world, such as USA, Canada, UK, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
